Living Yoga

Living Yoga is a non-profit outreach program teaching yoga as a tool for personal change in prisons, drug and alcohol rehabilitation centers, transitional facilities, and to populations who would otherwise not have access to it. Close to 100 highly-trained volunteer teachers provide programming which reaches over 2,000 individuals a year. Its classes offer effective and practical tools for increasing self-awareness and impulse control as well as strengthening the individual’s ability to avoid interpersonal conflict, relapse and recidivism.

 

OMpower

OMpower is a cutting-edge indoor cycling and yoga studio opening in March 2012 in San Francisco, CA. It was founded by recovering tri-athlete and yogi Jennifer Kartiganer, and is proud to be home to both the International Cycling Group’s (ICG) premier North American Headquarters and Training Academy, and to Off the Mat’s San Francisco offices.  A vision-driven organization, OM-power is committed to donating a portion of their annual profits to charitable organizations and to supporting its community members to take their passion out of the studio and into the world

 

Health Advocacy Solutions

Based in Portland, Oregon but serving clients nationwide, Health Advocacy Solutions (HAS) is a team of patient advocates and navigators, who help clients & their families find and work effectively with healthcare providers, make informed treatment decisions, resolve insurance issues, and coordinate their care. HAS also conducts workshops, publishes research reports, and ensures health-care consumers have a strong voice in public policy. HAS is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit and does not represent the interests of insurance carriers, drug companies, or other industry groups. Their only allegiance is to the patients and families they serve.

Montavilla Food Buying Club

The Montavilla Food Buying Club makes it easy for residents of Montavilla and adjacent Portland neighborhoods to purchase high-quality, local, organic and pesticide-free foods from wholesalers, ranchers & farmers at reduced prices.  Purchasing through the MFBC empowers members to “Buy Better Together,” make conscious choices about where their food comes from, shop more sustainably, and support the local economy.

 


Storytellers for Good

Storytellers for Good is an SF-based nonprofit video production company that tells human-interest stories about people and organizations making a difference in order to inspire optimism and change.  In partnership with OMpower, they will be facilitating a quarterly “Inspiring Greatness” series, highlighting the accomplishments of and fundraising for worthy SF nonprofits.

Since we’re passionate about connecting local farmers and consumers, we’re excited to be helping this family farm grow their distribution channels and develop a web presence that is both effective and easy for them to maintain.

Friends of Portland Community Gardens

Friends of Portland Community Gardens is an all-volunteer, nonprofit organization, whose mission is to support community gardening opportunities for Portland-area residents to grow healthy food and build community.  To celebrate their 25th anniversary, Friends of Portland Community Gardens asked ARG to design new collaterals and a new website, and utilized our expertise to develop their 25th anniversary campaign, and plan and run their anniversary event.

 

Food Day Oregon

When Oregon Food Day Coordinator Susan Navrotsky needed help to launch an informational website describing the Oregon events happening in celebration of the first-ever national Food Day (October 24, 2011), she turned to the Andler Resource Group for help designing and launching the site.  It was our privilege to be part of what we hope will become an annual event.

 

MotiveSpace: The Barn

A 120,000 sq. ft. nonprofit support center in pre-development by MotiveSpace, The Barn was conceived in response to the need for affordable, centrally-located office space for Portland’s mission-driven organizations, and is scheduled to break ground in 2014. Upon completion, it will house multiple nonprofit and social enterprise businesses and include an innovative array of shared services, programs and amenities.
